Overflow

”The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and
have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].“ John 10:10 AMP

God has prepared a life for us in Christ Jesus. This life is what we call Zoe which means the
divine life of God. Others define it as the God kind of life. Therefore, this season we are
possessing our inheritance of the life God has designed for us.

Overflow means to fill a space to capacity and spread beyond its limits. It also means to extend
beyond the limits; to be very abundant or to be more than enough. The Bible says, “For I know
the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you
a future and a hope.“ Jeremiah 29:11 NLT. God’s plans are for more than enough for us. We need
to believe and trust God with the plan He has for us.

Practically this means every part of our life must experience overflow. We need to overflow in
peace, joy, love, kindness etc. No area of our lives must be left to chance. El Shaddai is one of
seven covenant names through which God revealed Himself to Israel. In Hebrew, El Shaddai
means “the All-Sufficient One,” or “the God Who is more than enough. We believe this is our
portion for this life.
